HOW TO GET TO TEGENUNGAN WATERFALL BALI

Updated: Mar 11, 2020

Tegenungen Waterfall is roughly a 30 minute drive from Ubud and around an hour drive from Seminyak or Canggu.

I always choose to rent scooters, which start at around 50,000 IDR per day, and explore myself. However be sure to read up on our Renting A Scooter In Bali guide beforehand!

Another option is to rent a driver, which is pretty popular for day trips around Bali, and they start at around 500,000 IDR per day (8 hours).

WHAT TO EXPECT AT TEGENUNGAN WATERFALL BALI

After paying your entrance fee and stamping your ticket, follow the pathway through the markets until you hit the big ‘WELCOME TO TEGENUNGAN WATERFALL’ sign!

As soon as you pass the entrance sign there’s a great viewpoint to the left, although it’s usually pretty crowded! We grabbed a quick shot of the view below.

Tegenungan Waterfall is one of the most popular waterfalls in Bali so the pathway is well maintained and very safe to explore. It’s just a short walk down the concrete steps and the safety rail leads you all the way to the pit of the falls.
